With the warmer weather making an appearance, it’s that time I change up my makeup. Spring beauty to me is all about glowing, healthy skin, a bright lip and rosy cheeks. I tend to gravitate towards pink and peach tones for my blusher and love a cream formula, especially during Spring/Summer.
Cream and liquid blushers give the natural (I know, I know) appearance of flushed cheeks. They melt into the skin and wear much longer than powder blushers. They also (on the most part) blend out effortlessly and you can apply as much or little as you like without ever getting cake-face. Bonus.
My favourites are: Stila Aqua Glow in Water Lily, a rosy coral with a luminous sheen (a full review here). Stila Field of Florals palette which contains 12 shades that can be used on cheeks and lips; I only use them as blushers as I don’t particularly like lip products in palettes. Mac Casual Colour in Out for Fun, a pretty cool toned coral that is very pigmented and a little goes a long way. Vincent Longo Cosmetics Water Canvas in Swan Lake, a cool pale pink that makes the skin glow (full review).
As much as I love cream blush, I had to include some beautiful powder formulas that are perfect colours for the next few months, and the rest of the year to be fair. I tend to top my creams with a powder if I’m going to be out all day as it sets them and they last even longer.
My faves include: Clinique Cheek Pop in Melon, Peach and Pink. The Cheek Pop’s are my favourite blushers of all time so I obviously had to include them; if you pop by here often you’ll know how much I love them and won’t be surprised to see them featured. Too Faced Love Flush in Love Hangover; it’s a warm pink with a satin finish that is extremely flattering on my fair skin. Nars Amour, a matte rosy pink blusher that is very pigmented and blendable.
I absolutely adore my Clinique Peach Pop blusher, so I think I'm going to have to look into buying a couple more…I adore the formula, they are just so buttery and easily blend! xx

They all look absolutely beautiful xx
Beautiful beautiful shades!! I use Clinique Rosy Pop which is a little darker. But I love the way the go on and the texture of it! May have to buy a lighter one for springtime! I also like the Clinique Blushing Blush Powder in Pink Love as a lighter one! X
