I’ve wanted to try Clarins skincare for absolutely ages but never knew where to start, so when this box was sent to me I was over the moon. The box includes travel sizes of: Beauty Flash Balm, Hydraquench Cream, Tonic Body Oil, Gentle Foaming Cleanser and Moisture Rich Body Lotion. I’m a little bit in love with the Hydraquench moisturising cream, as soon as I applied it to my skin, my face felt like silk – I probably shouldn’t touch it as much as I do but it feels so good. I’ve used all the products in the box and am really impressed. I’ll most definitely be heading to a Clarins counter very soon and picking up some more of their skincare.
I’m a fan of oils, moisturisers, body butters – anything to add some much needed hydration to my skin, and this Jojoba oil is fab for that. I use it on my face, body, lips, hair, cuticles, elbows. It’s so versatile and can be added to your existing skincare or instead of; it can also remove makeup as since it’s an oil it’ll break it down. It’s naturally antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and hypoallergenic. It’s so moisturising and adds a lovely sheen to the skin. It’s definitely going to be a lifesaver during the colder months.
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Rosa Pop – 100ml | £47.50 | All Beauty |
Such a sweet, flirty fragrance with notes of red berries, peonies and violets – this perfume is so pretty. In between wearing YSL Mon Paris (which I featured in last months favourites, and I’m obsessed with), this has been my next go-to perfume. It’s really girly and feminine, I love it.
I’ve been in love with Nars Audacious lippies since they came out, my collection is a little bit ridiculous but it’s because they’re so frickin’ good. I’ve recently got my cream lipsticks out again, (do not fear I’m still a liquid lipstick addict) and my affair with Anna has rekindled. She’s the perfect dusty mauve that’s not too dark to be vampy and not too pink to be bright or nude, she’s the ultimate babe. Audacious lipsticks are creamy, long-wearing (like, really long-wearing), comfortable and hella pigmented. If you’ve not got any, you need to. Nars have just released a few new colours too, I need to get my hands on them.
Filofax The Original Organiser Patent A5 – Duck Egg | £85 | Filofax |
My days, how did I live without this planner? First off, I didn’t pay £85 for it, I got mine on Amazon when there was an offer on, so check there if you’re after a Filofax. I love the colour, I love the material, I love the size. Everything about this organiser is perfect for me. I had to include it in my favourites as it’s my ultimate fave! I have a post coming up with a look inside my planners (yes, plural, I have three) so stay tuned.
What were you loving in September?
