March was a good month, I enjoyed it immensely. I went back up north for a week and spent time with my family; I hadn’t seen them since my birthday in January so it was nice to spend a few days there. I also got to pick my 4 year old nephew up from nursery and loved it. When I got home I filmed something extremely exciting that you’ll hear about in a few months, and yesterday I celebrated my four year anniversary with my boyfriend. All the busy. I hope your March was a good one.

Vegas Nay Lashes by Eylure – Shining Star* | £6.90 | False |

I love falsies and this style by Eylure and Vegas Nay are so pretty. They’re fluffy, wispy and lightweight. They add a lot of volume and a bit of length, so I can still wear them with my glasses, which has to be done or I won’t be able to see. I like how thin the lash-band is and the effect they give to my eyes. A definite must-have if you’re a strip lashes lover.

Ardell Invisband Lashes – Demi Wispies* | £4.49 | False |

I swear all I used to hear from beauty YouTubers was ‘Ardell Demi Wispies’ and I had to have them in my life. They’re exactly what they’re called, wispy, feathery and natural. I went for an invisible band as I’m rubbish with eyeliner so don’t always wear it and with these, I don’t have to. They add a bit of length and a bit of volume, I love them. I think I see a multi-pack in my future.

False stock so many lash brands, I was shocked when I went on their website and found Lilly Lashes, Velour Lashes, House of Lashes, Flutter Lashes, Blinking Beaute, and many more. Definitely check them out, they offer free shipping in the UK too.

Vincent Longo Cosmetics Water Canvas Creme-to-Powder Foundation – Porcelain* | £43.50 | Cult Beauty |
Okay, so I reviewed this a few weeks ago and I’m honestly so in love with it. I actually can’t believe how good it is. I’ve worn it sheered out using a paddle brush, and with light-medium coverage using a beauty sponge – both ways are absolutely beautiful. It makes my skin glow, it’s hydrating, it wears lovely throughout the day – my face has never looked better. I don’t have enough good things to say about it, I’m so impressed. I can’t believe I’d never heard of this brand until a month ago and it comes along and I want to have a relationship with it. I know it’s expensive but it’s so worth it. And I’ve barely made a dent in mine.
Joan Collins Beauty Class Act Mascara* | £20 | Joan Collins Beauty |
I’d seen Joan Collins cosmetics popping up all over the place and wanted to get myself down to M&S to swatch some of the goodness when an email landed in my inbox asking if I’d like to try this mascara. Now, as much as I love new products, I’m quite hard to please when it comes to my lashes and I’m fairly faithful to my Too Faced Better Than Sex at the moment. However, change is good, right?
First of all, the packing – absolutely bloody beautiful. I think the whole collection is stunning and elegant but its Joan Collins, I expect nothing less. The wand is my favourite type, it’s a natural bristle brush (I’m not a fan of plastic wands) that holds a lot of product. As for the product, it’s on the creamier side but coats the lashes evenly and doesn’t clump. I find it adds a lot of volume and holds a curl well. There is no transfer onto my lids or fall down onto my cheeks after a day of wear. It’s a nice mascara and I’m really enjoying it.

Clinique Cheek Pop – Melon Pop | £17 | Clinique |

I know, I know, you’re probably sick of me going on about Clinique blushers. I won’t ever stop, okay? Well, unless they change their formula but they wouldn’t do that to me! Anyway, Melon Pop has been on my list for so long and it was always sold out online, so when I popped to Milton Keynes a few weeks ago, I nabbed one and I’ve worn it everyday (yes, every single day that I’ve worn makeup) since. It’s a light pink-coral that is so pretty I can’t handle it. It has a luminosity that isn’t sparkly or glittery, but leaves the cheeks with a really healthy, flushed glow. It wears really nicely and has great pigmentation.

I have four of the Cheek Pop’s and I love all of them but I think this is my favourite. I wore it on Monday on my cheeks and in the crease of my eyelids, and it was really pretty and very Spring. If you’ve yet to try these blushers, I highly suggest you change that immediately.

What have you been loving in March?

Hi Sarah, my lashes are not in good shape at the mo, I'm considering some falsies until they sort themselves out and I have hear Ardell are a good brand so I think I may give these a go 🙂
