My boyfriend and I have been looking at new sofas, we’re moving house soon and plan on upgrading our small fabric couch. With that in the mind, I thought about my needs and how I am finding it increasingly difficult to get up from my standard living room chair. I rarely sit on our two-seater as I practically have to be lifted out of it as it’s fairly low; so this collaboration with Fenetic Wellbeing came just at the right time.
Fenetic Wellbeing are a mobility company that provide customers with mobility products for their individual needs. Their #GoFaux campaign hopes to introduce faux leather recliners as an option when choosing living room furniture.
But mobility-friendly pieces of furniture are often not pretty, they regularly look like they belong in a hospital waiting room and certainly stand out in a bad way in a modern setting, right? Wrong, Fenetic Wellbeing have a range of practical, comfortable and stylish recliner chairs that make my inner interior designer wannabe very happy. With an assortment of colours, sizes and functions, there’s something for everyone.
They’ll blend in (or standout, depending on your style) in your living room and you’ll be able to lie back in luxury. There’s nothing better than getting home after a long day, getting cosy in your favourite chair, pulling over the blanket and popping your feet up. Now, as I’m someone that spends a lot of time at home (why hello there, chronic illness life), propped up in bed or fidgeting around on my lounge chair, I know a recliner would not only be luxurious and comfy as hell, but it’d help my aching joints whilst not having to take myself off to bed.
There’s also so many benefits of faux leather: first off it’s cruelty free which is a huge plus. It gives the look of real leather without the often hefty price tag or upkeep; spillages can easily be cleaned. I remember my parents having a leather sofa that required specialist treatments every few months, and I don’t know about you, but I’m not about that life. I also have a fabric sofa and it is not that straight-forward keeping it looking new…especially not with me, the girl with the tremor that spills practically everything. Oops.
Faux leather is really durable and lasts well. If you have a family, especially with small children, I feel like this could be a great option for you. Or if you’re like me and can’t lift up a drink/plate/pen without dropping it. It is definitely going to be a consideration for our new place.
That looks such a nice chair, I need one of these too but as you say they’re usually as ugly as hell & massively expensive, so being helped up is my only option at the moment. I’ll definitely have a look at these, they sound like they’d be a dream come true xxxx

I have a rise & recline chair. I dunno about faux leather but when chairs in waiting rooms are that smooth material I slide off so I stick to fabric and drinking water only lol
Yeh, they're pretty cool x
These chairs are not simply confined for the family room stylistic layout. They can enormously supplement the additional floor space in your rooms and library. Kamidana definition
