We’re almost two weeks into March and I am finally showing off what I was loving in February. I seem to be late a lot lately and massive apologies, my motivation is at an all-time low but I’m trying to get back into things. As well as my rebrand, which I’m loving, I’m changing up my photography style. I have a whole post on that coming this week but do let me know what you think of the above pic.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder – Fair | £33 | Charlotte Tilbury |
Powder is not something I change up; I’m quite loyal to my Mac MSF but when I hit pan recently I decided I was going to treat myself to the CT powder everyone seems to adore. And now I know why they love it so much.
It’s a very fine, silky texture that is lightweight on the skin. It doesn’t cling to any dry patches, it doesn’t crease or settle in any fine lines; it honestly does provide a flawless finish. I don’t get particularly oily throughout the day but my nose sometimes shows a bit of shine, however this powder seems to hold it at bay a little longer. Not only do I love the product but the packaging is goals and is featured on my Instagram far too often. Definitely give it a go if you’re on the hunt for a new high-end powder.
CND Vinylux Weekly Polish – Winter Nights* | £6.95 | Nail Polish Direct |
You may not know but I am unable to give myself manicures (chronic life) but always have my nails done (my nail tech is a babe). Despite that I have a huge collection of nail varnishes because I (try to) give myself a pedicure every six or so weeks. Just before Christmas I was gifted a few CND polishes and the deep navy blue spoke to me. It went on so opaque I couldn’t quite believe it, it looked like I had done three coats in one swipe. I have had it on for five weeks and it is still going strong with zero chips. I am so impressed and can’t wait to try more colours.
Lush Just to Clarify Jelly Mask | £6.95 | Lush |
I absolutely love a face mask (or thirty-five) and the Lush Jelly Masks have stolen my heart. I have tried three; Bunny Moon, 1000 Millihelens, and obviously Just to Clarify. The masks are quite odd as they literally are a pot of jelly but you just rip a piece off, warm it up in the hands and smother it on the face. Just to Clarify is my favourite because it is also an exfoliator. It smells like a medicine I used to have as a kid, which isn’t the best but the results are totally worth it. It leaves the face smooth and soft whilst cleansing, exfoliating and brightening. I love it, you need it.
Missguided Babe Power EDP* | £28 | Missguided |
Going through my teens my favourite perfume was Armani City Glam, it was absolutely gorgeous and I used approximately four bottles. But then it was discontinued. I was gutted. Then I was sent Babe Power and it reminded me of my fave fragrance. The notes are: grapefruit zest, sour cherry, pink pepper, apple, pineapple, rhubarb, orange blossom, peony, jasmine, vanilla, candy floss, musk and amber. All of that means nothing to me as it probably doesn’t to you but it is a really unique scent that is long-lasting and I can’t get enough of it.
Glo Skin Beauty Precise Micro Browliner – Dark Brown* | £15.50 | Glo Skin Beauty |
I have been on the hunt for a new brow product for a while as my beloved Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer has jumped up in price and I’m just not willing to pay it. The product is so thin and perfect for mimicking tiny brow hairs. The pencil is firm but deposits product evenly and doesn’t tug on the skin. It is long-lasting, waterproof and doesn’t budge all day. It’s such a good alternative to the ABH.
all these products look so good! x
