I’ve had this lot of Bravura products for a while now and been using them religiously for about 4-6 weeks. And *spoiler alert* my skin has never looked or felt better. I’m so incredibly impressed and am shocked at how affordable the range is.
Every day I have used the First Cleanse Oil* (£14.50) the Revitalising Ginseng Toner* (£12.40) and Azulene Moisturiser* (£9.90). And the 10% Lactic Acid* (£9.59) every other day at the beginning and now only twice a week.
I’m always very wary changing up my skincare routine because I have quite problematic skin due to the amount of medication I take. Pain, stress and pills certainly take a toll on my skin and as a thirty year old woman, it’s annoying to still be getting breakouts. My mum has incredible skin, I need that. However since using these products my skin is behaving and I’m over the moon…now if only the rest of my body could do the same.
I love the glass packaging of Bravura London; it looks really expensive and the various coloured bottles make me think of Morocco. They definitely look really pretty in my bathroom.
First Cleanse Oil is a deep cleansing oil that does exactly what it says in the name. It gently removes makeup and any dirt or grime on the face. It smells amazing, it’s soothing and leaves the skin glowing. I was always worried using oils on my face as I thought it’d give me spots but this gets deep into the pores and cleans them thoroughly. It is also very gentle on the eyes, no stinging in sight.
My opinion with toner was always, ‘what’s the point?’ But after using the Ginseng Toner I can’t be without it. The product smells like a spa, instantly softens the skin and prepares it for moisturiser and/or treatments. It’s suitable for all skin types and since it’s an acid based toner it exfoliates dead skin cells. It also helps smooth out uneven texture, tighten pores and give the appearance of more youthful skin.
The Azulene Moisturiser is a blue, emollient cream formula that sinks into the skin quickly, is non-greasy and works great as a base under makeup. It is packed with lots of amazing ingredients that help keep spots at bay, soothes the skin and keeps it hydrated. It is great for normal/combination skin because it is so light. If you have very dry skin, this might not work for you. However if you have rosacea, inflammation and are prone to spots, you need this in your life. I’m such a fan and will definitely be ordering more once I’ve used it all.
Finally, the 10% Lactic Acid came with a pamphlet on how to use and I was quite taken aback as I didn’t want to mess up and potentially destroy my skin. Since it’s a mild chemical peel, it’s extremely important to follow the instructions carefully and after a few times of using the product it’s pretty simple. Lactic acid is perfect for dry/dehydrated skin, acne, sun damaged skin, fine wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. ‘Lactic acid works at the base of the skin’s stratum corneum, dissolving the ‘glue’ that holds dead skin cells together. Because this increases cell turnover, skin becomes smoother, more elastic and more even in tone and texture.’ What’s not to love about that? Since it’s only 10% acid you do not need a neutraliser, you can simply wash the product off. I noticed a difference almost immediately. My skin is so much clearer and healthier looking.
I cannot recommend this brand enough. They’re extremely valuable, are packaged luxuriously and the products give amazing results. I don’t think I’ll be trying any new skincare for a while as this has changed my face, for the better.
I've never tried any of their products but I really want to, don't know where to start though haha. Everything is so bright and beautiful xx
