This is my first ever monthly favourites, woo. I plan on doing this every month, well, because I want to. They won’t always be crammed with beauty related products but there’ll be a hell of a lot of make up goodness in there. I tried a few new things in July and reunited with some old faves, so let’s do this.
Laura Mercier Artist Eye Palette | £45 | Link |
With twelve eye shadows, matte and shimmer shades, this palette is hands down – perfection. As soon as I heard that Space NK were stocking this palette, I snatched it up. The shadows are buttery, pigmented and blend like a dream. The matte shadows are just as good as the shimmer shades and I love the amount of cool-toned colours in this palette. I’ve used it almost every day and I highly recommend it to any beauty lover.
Nars – Blame it on Nars Ultimate Lip Pencil Set | £29 | Link |Okay, so I apologise in advance, this was a limited edition set and it’s sold out. Don’t fight me, I can’t help it. I love the packaging and I’m obsessed with Sex Machine (pink mauve matte crayon), it’s such a universal colour that looks good with any make up look. Sex Machine and Biscayne Park are available to buy separately if you fancied getting them without the sexy packaging.I have swatches and all that good stuff.
Kat Von D Tatto Liner – Trooper | $19 | Link |Felt liners are the way forward, they’re just so much easier than liquid and although I love gel, I feel like it’s a lot more effort, I don’t know why. I’d heard amazing things about the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner and as a lover of Kat Von D Beauty, I had to try this. My initial reaction was awful, I actually hated it, the thin felt nib was wobbly and uncontrollable, and I just couldn’t work with it. I persevered and tried it again the next day and voilà, I’d clearly gained magic powers whilst asleep. The best way to use this liner is holding it horizontally and swiping from inner to outer eye. It’s extremely black, is fast-drying, so no ridiculous transfer on the eyelid and it’s waterproof. I love it.
YSL Volupte Tint-in-Oil Lip Tint – Peach Me Love | £23.50 | Link |The most expensive ‘non lip balm’ lip tint I own. I know, I know, it’s expensive but, oh my lord, it’s incredible. The second it touches your mouth your lips die and go to the softest part of heaven. It’s made with five oils that have super duper nourishing, moisturising goodness that leave a gorgeous glossy, non-sticky tint to your lips. If you’re having a hard time with cracked/chapped lips, you need this in your life.
Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick – Bitch Perfect | £23 | Link |My love of Charlotte Tilbury is strong and this lipstick is so stunning. Bitch Perfect is a muted coral with pink undertones and gives an opaque, satin finish that feels comfortable on the lips, leaving them soft and hydrated. This was one of my first CT products and I am certainly going back for more.
Illamasqua Powder Blusher – Naked Rose | £22 | Link |I’ve had this blusher for a few months now and I am constantly picking it up over all my others. It is a neutral beige pink that is absolutely gorgeous for light skin tones as it gives a natural flush to the cheeks. It applies easily and blends out effortlessly. I’m so obsessed with Naked Rose, I need to pick up some more Illamasqua blushers because this is gorgeous and I fear I may hit pan soon!

Becca Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector – Champagne Pop | $38 | Link |
All hail this highlighter, I am completely and utterly obsessed. It is described as ‘soft white gold with pinky peach undertones,’ there’s a lot more peach than pink and it’s just stunning. I didn’t think it would work with my Casper-like skin but thankfully it does; the colour is so universal that it will look great on any skin tone. Jaclyn Hill did an amazing job creating this with Becca, it’s my new favourite highlight. That glowing life is what I’m all about lately.
Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil | $32 | Link |
I kind of hate it when I love products that I can only get from Sephora, however, this oil is a must have. I’ve really noticed a difference in my skin since using it. It removes every little bit of make up, even annoying waterproof mascara – no trouble. You only need the smallest amount for the entire face, rub it in, add water and rinse, done. It’s part of my nightly skincare routine now, it adds hydration and doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy. I don’t like going to bed with a greasy face, nope.
Avene Thermal Water Spray | £10 | Link |
Okay, so I thought this was a joke product, a gimmick, whatever, but it’s actually bloody marvellous. I’ve been using it as a replacement for my La Roche-Posay Serozinc Spray, which I found no benefit from and I feel like it’s helped keep the spots away (in combination with other products obviously). I get quite bad hormonal breakouts but last month, none. I was shocked. I even spray it on my boyfriend when I’m doing my skincare routine. It’s refreshing, it sinks into the skin quickly and I’m a fan. I also had a few insect bites on my leg and it helped the itching. It’s magic water in a can.
Bedhead Superstar Queen for a Day | £9.49 | Link |
If you’ve read my blog before, you’ll know I’ve been on the hunt for something to add life to my hair…and finally, this product was brought to my attention. I spray it, practically all over my head before drying my hair and it gives so much volume, it’s unreal. It has a lovely fruity scent that lingers on your hair and the lift it gives is so noticeable, I couldn’t really believe it the first time I tried it.
What have been your favourites? Have you tried anything I’ve been loving?

The eye shadow palette looks similar to the one I have put in my July favourites ^.^ those colours are just awesome!
The blush matches with your face pretty nice 🙂
So, do you use the thermal water on your whole body? I love facial sprays, so if this one is for the whole body it would be even more great – especially when it prevents breakouts..
Have a nice evening 🙂
