Welcome back to the cold weather, oh my days how I have missed you; my joints not so much but I much prefer the chillier months. I’m a winter baby after all. I should probably start buying Christmas presents soon though, that always creeps up on me. Has anyone bought any yet?
Imperial Leather Let’s Flamingle – Pink Lychee & Raspberry Shower Gel | £1 | Boots |
This little babe is limited edition and I’m unsure how long it will be around so if you want it, be quick! I picked it up a few weeks ago whilst I was shopping with my nephew and he encouraged me to get it along with the mermaid and unicorn gels too; he’s definitely my nephew, the little enabler. I have a drawer full of shower gels, my boyfriend and I go through them so quickly so I like being stocked up. This is a fave because I’m a little bit in love with anything flamingo, but it also smells incredible. It’s fresh, fruity and leaves the skin super soft. Can’t complain for a quid.
The Body Shop Body Yogurt – Mango | £8.50 | The Body Shop |
I love a body moisturiser and I picked this up on a whim whilst going to stock up on the vanilla pumpkin range. In the shop, I applied some to my hand and it felt amazing. It is a very slippery, gel like consistency that absorbs really quickly and makes the skin softer than anything! It claims to give 48 hour moisture, it’s lightweight and not sticky in the slightest. I love it. I need more.
REN Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm* | £40 | REN |
I’ve been trying this for about six weeks and it’s such a good’un. It is a rich night balm that intensely moisturises the skin whilst sleeping. I wake up with super soft skin that is hydrated and showing no signs of redness. I’m always concerned that overnight products will leave me with blemishes or irritate my skin but this is so sensitive and soothing. The balm melts between fingertips and is applied before bed, after cleanser. A little goes a long way and it does wonders for the skin. I know as it gets colder and my skin gets drier, it’ll be a lifesaver and I will get so much more use out of it. If you wanted to give REN a go, you need to get this.
I am so excited to share this new collection with you. It’s all about breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, chronic illness and disability – and I’m so here for that.
The Hugs n Drugs pin was created in collaboration with meee and I love it. It symbolises how I get on with life, and I couldn’t do it without hugs or drugs – prescription of course. Living with chronic pain means that I can’t function without medication but I also can’t function without hugs from my loved ones. I cope with my mental health and my disability with cuddles and meds and hopefully this pin resonates with so many people on different levels.
I also wanted to give a massive shout out to the Strong AF pin and the Not One to Brag but I Made it Out of Bed pin. They’re just so cute and sassy, and I can’t wait to show them off.
In October 5% of sales from this collection will be donated to Mind, so if you fancy picking any up, why not wait a few days?
I love the sound of the Imperial Leather shower gel, the packaging is super cute too xx
Gemma Etc. ❤️
I've heard amazing things about the Body Shop yoghurts and how amazing they are, I definitely need to give one a go although I'm not a big fan of heavily scented moisturisers weirdly but I reckon knowing the body shop they have a bajillion scents! xx
