Soap, shampoo, lip balm and an eye mask – you might think this a random post, and I guess it kind of is, but humour me and you might potentially discover a company you’ve never heard of who produce some fab products.
The English Soap Company – Lily of the Valley Large Bath Soap | £5.99 | The English Soap Company |
The English Soap Company make fine soap and candles. Their soaps are made with pure rich oils that moisturise the skin, not dry it out. They smell absolutely amazing. The scent is so long-lasting and although I’ve nearly came to the end of one bar, the perfume in it is still as strong as it was when I first started using it. The packaging of The English Soap Company’s products is that luxurious, you almost want to leave it in the wrapping.
I’ve not used soap since I was a teenager as I always found that it dried out my skin and left a weird residue; but these are intensely moisturising and leave hands feeling silky. My whole bathroom smells of the soap and I’m totally not complaining.
Sebamed products have all been made with pH 5.5 making them suitable for the whole family. Now I’m not one to wash my hair everyday, it’s just not viable for someone with chronic pain, so I can’t tell you whether it made a difference to my hairs pH balance but I did enjoy using this shampoo. My hair felt extremely soft afterwards and the shine was very noticeable.
I really love the Lip Defense, it instantly moisturises the lips and helps lessen irritation and inflammation. I bite my lips quite often and they always seem really dry, but since using this, I’ve noticed a vast difference, and they seem to heal a lot faster with using the balm.
DHC Rich Eye Zone Care Pack – 2 sheets x 6 | £15 | DHC |
I love, love, love face masks and have been seeing people use eye masks all over the internet, so was really excited to give this a go. It’s said the mask has qualities to reduce fine lines, puffiness and improve elasticity. I’m very lucky to have no wrinkles (yet, I have no doubt they’ll show up soon, I’m 30 in January) but have seen a huge difference in eye-puff reduction. I don’t always sleep great and find this mask really helps me look as if I’ve slept for a week. It massively relieves any swelling and cools down the area. I like putting my mask in the fridge a few hours before using it and the coldness feels so good, you can almost feel the ingredients working.
Have you tried any of these products?
