I feel like I blinked and November came and went; anyone else feel that way? Christmas is just around the corner and I have a few presents but still have lots to buy; I’m not stressed. Yet.
Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette* | £42 | Urban Decay |
As soon as the previews for this palette were leaked, I knew it had to be mine. I ended up being skint when it was released early and bought it on sale a week after it officially released…only to arrive home from three weeks up north with my parents to find that Urban Decay had kindly sent it to me. The colours are very much me. It reminded me of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette which I wouldn’t buy because I can’t touch that velvety packaging, it makes my skin crawl. So this Cherry baby was definitely going to take up space in my bedroom.
I love all the UD eyeshadow palettes I own and this is easily my favourite. It contains twelve shadows, a mix of shimmers and mattes, with ivory, pinks, and reds. The eyeshadows blend like a dream, are long-wearing and not chalky at all. I use a concealer as a base and the shadows don’t move or flake off on me. I’ve created so many looks using this palette, from wearable daytime neutrals to glam smokey eyes. It’s so versatile. If you were considering getting it, you should.
Being by Sanctuary Spa Cloudberry and Lychee Blossom Body Scrub | £9 | Boots |
This brand can do no wrong in my opnion. I’ve tried almost everything they do and I love them. As well as the Salted Caramel and Macadamia, Cloudberry and Lychee Blossom is one of my favourite scents they offer; it’s so fresh and fruity. The body scrub is gentle but gives an intense exfoliation that doesn’t leave the skin dry or irritated. After using this I have super soft, smooth skin and I love it.
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Intense | £104.40 | John Lewis |
I only bought the large bottle of this last week during the Black Friday sales and it was about £95, so really expensive but I bought it as a Christmas present to myself. I received a sample earlier in the month and absolutely fell in love with it. It reminds me of my Nan as she always wore Chanel No.5 and I love reminiscing about her whenever I wear it. It’s such a beautiful, long-lasting fragrance with notes of jasmine, vanilla and patchouli. If you’re a perfume fan, go and try this.
The Body Shop Vanilla Marshmallow Shower Gel | £5 | The Body Shop |
Anything vanilla scented and I’m sold. This Vanilla Marshmallow range is limited edition for Christmas so if you want to smell it, get on it right away. I love the shower gels from TBS and this one smells like one of my favourite Yankee Candles, Fireside Treats (which I have burning as I write, might I add). It’s seasonal, it’s yummy, you need it. I also picked up the body moisturiser as it was on offer!
