It Cosmetics arrived in Boots the other month and I was desperate to get my hands on these two products as I’d heard nothing but amazing things about them. We popped into Liverpool when I went home last month and there was an It Cosmetics counter, with a fab offer on, so I couldn’t resist.
If I remember correctly, the offer was to buy the CC Cream with any other product and receive a £35 double-ended brush for free. I planned on getting both products anyway so the brush was an added bonus.
It Cosmetics Your Skin but Better CC+ Cream – Fair | £30 | Boots |
This CC+ Cream has SPF 50, it’s colour correcting, anti-ageing and gives full coverage. The coverage is so good that it covers blemishes and dark spots whilst keeping the skin hydrated and reduces the appearance of pores. It also adds a lovely glow to the skin and is really long-wearing. My skin looks really healthy and natural despite the coverage being so full. The It Cosmetics assistant told me not to wear a primer underneath this cream as it has moisturising properties. The cream blends effortlessly with a beauty sponge and doesn’t cake up or break up at all; my skin looks and feels great when wearing it.
I’m a massive fan of the packaging; it has a pump which I love and is really easy to use with my rubbish hands.
I love everything about the packaging, wear and coverage, but the shade range isn’t great. I got the shade Fair and it’s just not light enough for my fair skin. It’s too yellow and slightly too dark so I have to mix it with lightening drops; luckily they don’t change the consistency or coverage. Overall, I am a fan but the fact that I have to mix it annoys me and thirty quid is a bit steep.
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer – Light | £23.50 | Boots |
Holy shit, this concealer is no joke, it’s so full coverage that it actually covers my eye suitcases and nothing ever has. I usually have to colour correct and use a full coverage concealer but even then the blue is still visible. This concealer is so pigmented that it shocked me and I had to text my friend and tell her to buy it as soon as I applied it. It doesn’t crease or crack and I always set it with powder. If you have any imperfections, they’ll be very much hidden with this. The consistency of the product is quite thick so you only need a tiny amount as a little goes a long way. The lightest shade is passable for me and although I would like it a tad fairer, I still love it. If you’ve not tried it, you absolutely have to, especially if your have broken capillaries or dark circles; it’s practically magic.
They're so good aren't they!!?? I literally said wow out loud when I used the concealer.
