Shockingly, I bought more liquid lipsticks. I couldn’t help it, they were calling to me, I had to have them. If you’re new to my blog, I’m addicted to liquid lipstick, and no, my love affair won’t be ending any time soon. I’ve harped on that Kat Von D and Stila hold that special holy grail status in my heart, but then Dose of Colors showed up, and kicked them from their pedestal. As soon as I tried them, I knew I had to have more.
I did a full review of Bare with Me and Truffle here; I talk about the packaging, the formula – all the important stuff. I don’t want to repeat myself, I just want to show you the new colours I added to my DOC collection. Beauty Bay were (are) taking forever-and-a-day to restock more colours and little miss impatient was frankly getting tired of waiting – so I ordered directly from Dose’s website.
Dose of Colors is based in the US, shipping cost approximately £6 and they touched down in the UK a week after I placed my order. Much to my dismay, I got a customs charge of £19, but I was expecting it and I wasn’t too bothered because, hello, new lipsticks. And oh my days, they’re such gorgeous colours.
L-R Chocolate Wasted, Cork, Brick, Coral Crush, Kiss of Fire
Please excuse the shoddy swatches, it’s not the easiest thing to do when your hands are as crap as mine. There’s gorgeous lip swatches on DOC website if you want to check them out.
I absolutely love the colours I got, and so glad I finally have some dark vampy shades – grunge makeup, here I come. I’m obsessed with Dose of Colors, the formula is the best I’ve ever tried. Now I just need to get Stone and I’ll be very happy…and won’t ever have to buy any more. Ha, as if!
Have you tried the Dose of Colors liquid lipsticks?
