I like my face to glow, if I can’t be seen from space, I’m not wearing enough highlighter and this powder is simply stunning.
I first saw it when it was released as a limited edition item at Christmas last year but didn’t manage to get my hands on it. However, as soon as Bobbi Brown brought this baby back, I nabbed it so bloody fast.
Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powder – Pink Glow | £34 | Bobbi Brown |
It’s a pink champagne powder with hints of white that blends effortlessly and is silky to the touch. It gives off excellent pigment that doesn’t require swirling your brush around the pan, but I especially like applying it with my fingers as it packs more of a glowing-punch. The texture of powder is unlike any of my other highlighters (and I have a lot), it almost seems like a cream. The finish is very metallic and definitely lights up the high points of the face without leaving you covered in chunks of glitter.
I’m a little bit in love with Pink Glow; I’m very pale with pink undertones and this looks so pretty on my skin tone. I don’t use the Sigma F35 Tapered Highlighting brush with this powder as it doesn’t pick up enough product. I suggest a dense brush with firmer bristles, I currently apply it with my Real Techniques Pointed Foundation brush, which I tend to use with my Becca Poured highlighter.
I know I say it all the time, but I really love this product, it’s such a gorgeous shade and I don’t have anything similar in my collection. Go get it at once.
