As much as I love makeup, I have a soft spot for skincare. You can’t have great makeup without decent skin so I’m always on the hunt for products that help my skin look its best. I’ve had issues with my skin since my teens, and although it’s nothing major, I wish it was better. Then I tried Aurelia Probiotic Skincare.
I was sent five products from Aurelia to test out and I think I’ve fallen in love. They arrived in a super sleek black box tied with a ribbon, and all the goodies, including a cute bamboo muslin cloth lay waiting for me to use.
Aurelia Skincare are a British company that pride themselves on pushing the boundaries in skincare. They use evidence based probiotic technology to help manage inflammation levels in the skin. They do not test on animals and use natural and ethically sourced ingredients.
So, what products have I been using:
Aurelia Skincare Cell Revitalise Day Moisturiser 60 ml | £52 | Aurelia |
Aurelia Skincare Cell Repair Night Oil 50 ml | £55 | Aurelia |
Aurelia Skincare Aromatic Repair & Brighten Hand Cream 75 ml | £28 | Aurelia |
First off let me say that these are most definitely luxury products; you can obviously tell that by the price point but the packaging, scent and feel of the product just oozes quality.
The Day Moisturiser is perfect for adding a glow to the skin in the morning. The cream is light and melts into the skin quickly whilst aiding in hydration and adds a dewiness. Likewise the Night Oil is a treatment that is perfect to add and lock in moisture. It’s been an absolute lifesaver during the warmer months when my skin has felt dehydrated. I’ve found a lot of other overnight treatments clog up my pores and/or cause blemishes but this leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.
The Miracle Balm is definitely my favourite product out of everything I tried, and at first glance I didn’t know what it was. It’s a product that can be used as a five minute mask or an instant exfoliator. I’ve tried it both ways and I prefer the latter, mainly because I like leaving a face mask on for longer than five minutes. It does what every exfoliator does and removes dead skin cells. The difference with this is afterwards my face feels velvety soft, it gives such a deep, gentle clean, and smells amazing.
The Miracle Cleanser is a great cream cleanser, it’s packed with various oils that break up makeup and really remove the impurities of the day. I’ve used it many times on my Magnitone and it leaves my skin fresh and ready to apply my other products on top. As cream cleansers go, this is awesome. And again, the scent is amazing.
I think my skin really appreciates all the essential oils in Aurelia products as it’s been so much less dull, and not misbehaving half as much as usual. If you fancy investing in some amazing quality luxury skincare, I suggest you check out Aurelia Probiotic Skincare.
