I can’t tell you how happy I am that there’s a chill in the air. This week I got the blankets out and got cosy; we even turned the heating on because it got that cold. And I’ve never been happier as I bloody hate summer; and I’m buzzing to see the back of that heatwave. Laters eyebrow sweat. Hello candles and cosiness.
Bilou Bodyspray Coco Cocktail* | £3.99 | Superdrug |
I had wanted to try this brand for ages and could never find them in my local Superdrug so was made up when they emailed me. I love a body spray and this one is a concoction of my two favourite scents: vanilla and coconut. It’s so tropical, perfect for freshening up and the scent lingers. Plus it’s a really good price and compact enough to chuck in the handbag. Definitely pick it up if you’re after a new body spray.
Umberto Giannini Mermaid Hair Volume Mousse | £7 | Boots |
I’m seeing loads of bloggers talk about this brand lately and I featured a few UG products in last months faves, but I haven’t seen anyone rave about this. When I had short hair, I added mousse all the time and for some reason as my hair has got longer, I stopped using it. That was until I was beckoned over by ‘mermaid hair’. I kind of bought this because of the name and the packaging, I’m not going to lie, but I’m so happy with the results. It gives so much volume and lift to the hair, it doesn’t feel tacky or sticky and it doesn’t leave a film on the hair. If you’re someone that lets your hair dry naturally and want the beach wavy look, you need this. Plus, it smells amazing.
Umberto Giannini Blow Dry in a Bottle | £7 | Boots |
This spray-in product is also great for adding volume and I use this when I’m using my hairdryer. It adds hydration, volume, shine and a smooth finish. If you’re one for a sleek, straight hair but want some lift at the roots, this is the product for you.
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant* | £49.50 | Dermalogica |
I used to use this product all the time but I have to be a bit more conscientious with money lately so haven’t been able to repurchase. However, I recently became a #skinfluencer with Dermalogica and this was part of my PR box! I’ve been using it daily since it arrived and I forgot just how good it is. My skin feels so much smoother, there’s no dry skin and it’s extremely gentle. When I used to use it regularly I noticed how much it helped even out my texture and made my skin less dull. I’m so glad I have it on my face again, I’ve missed it.
REN Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Toner* | £25 | REN |
I’d heard so many great things about this toner so couldn’t wait to try it and it quickly became a favourite. It exfoliates, reduces oils, prevents breakouts and minimises pores, all whilst brightening and hydrating – something my tired skin is in desperate need of. I love the fact the bottle has a pump as no product is wasted and there’s no cross-contamination. I use a cotton pad morning and night on my face and neck. My skin is plumper, clearer and glowing. The first time I used this toner, I looked like I had applied highlighter to my whole face; I love the result. If you were planning on giving this a go, I really recommend you do.
I've been meaning to try Blow Dry In A Bottle for ages, even though I don't often actually dry my hair haha.
