Becca Cosmetics is renowned for their Shimmering Skin Perfectors and it took me a while to get round to owning any. I’m a matte skin kind of girl so didn’t use highlighters a lot as I thought I’d end up looking too greasy.
What the hell was wrong with me? As soon as I bought the trio of mini liquid skin perfectors that were released during the holidays, I became obsessed. This particular set comes in Pearl, Opal and Champagne Gold. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to own these as the set was only £20. Pearl is my favourite as it complements my fair skin perfectly. They last a long time and give a gorgeous dewy luminosity to the cheekbones. I”ll definitely be buying the larger size when I run out. The full size has a range of colours so if you don’t like the look of these take a look at the others.

The liquid is very thin and doesn’t cling to dry patches, it can be mixed with foundation, used underneath or on top and does not disrupt the foundation when placed over it. I like to apply it over my foundation on my cheekbones and cupids bow, I dab it on with the applicator and blend lightly with my fingers.

I also have the pressed and poured variety. I have the poured in Pearl and this is a cream consistency with a more obvious colour than the liquid. It is thin and easy to apply, I again apply this using my fingers. It’s not tacky and blends out well. At the moment, the poured version is not available in the UK so I had to order mine from Sephora.

I own Moonstone and the coveted Champagne Pop, made in collaboration with the fabulous YouTube sensation Jaclyn Hill. The pressed powder formula is much more opaque than the previous two, it contains a sheen and light shimmer, which I really don’t mind as it’s stunning. It is very easy to apply, I use a Sigma F35 Tapered Highlighter Brush and it looks amazing. I must spend at least five minutes moving my face in front of the mirror once I’ve used it because the glow is gorgeous and totally visible from space.
Pearl, Champagne Pop, Moonstone

Pearl – Silvery white.
Champagne Pop – Soft white gold with peachy pink undertones
Moonstone – Pale gold
I’ve tried all of the Becca highlighter formulas and I love each of them. I tend to use a liquid as a base and add a powder over the top if I want my glow to last all day and night. I am obsessed with Champagne Pop at the moment, it’s such a gorgeous colour.
Have you tried any Becca Cosmetics products? What’s your favourite highlighter?

For the first time I have seen Lina Cameron to use champagne pop this on my sister, when she went for her wedding makeup. She was looking stunning using this. She also trains make up lesson, so we did our Spring makeup lesson from her. After that we bought, opal and moonstone mini duo sets. From that time we really love this set. At first, we couldn't use the liquid one, as we are not expert in doing makeup. Now we really love this one and use them regularly. Both of them are a very pretty universal shades. We love all of there shades! <3
